The book carefully selected for this week is...[Surprise!] Anne of the Island, the third book in the Anne of Green Gables series. Now, you may be wondering, why go along in order of the series? That is because each book is roughly equally wonderful, and it is really hard to choose only three for this month, so I went in order. Also, this gives you readers a chance to explore and read the rest of the series on your own, without it being spoiled.
Anyways, Anne of the Island talks about Anne's college experience at Redmond College with her old friends and new ones. College life is full of surprises, such as marriage proposals. Lessons are learned, and Anne learns much about herself and what she wants, and what she is prepared for. Those may not line up exactly. Read it to find out! I could not recommend you a better book or series.
