The book of the week for this week is... the Blackthorn Key! It is a series composed of 5 books, as of current. It describes the adventures of Christopher Rowe and his best friend Thomas Bailey and is in the genre of adventure and mystery. It is full of humor, clues, codes, potions, and... murder. Not to mention that it includes much historical background of the times that help Rowe and Bailey solve some of their mysteries.
When I first read the Blackthorn Key, I was enthralled and intrigued. Normally, I shy away from books with murders because I cannot stomach it most of the time, but this book is an exception. I highly recommend it!
